"The Range Rover, imported by former state minister Salahuddin Ahmed, was not found from Pacific Centre, Mohakhali, as reported, but taken possession of from Pacific Motors' showroom cum workshop at Tejgaon, along with the relevant import papers," the clarification said.

It said the vehicle was in safekeeping and was not delivered to the importer due to non-payment of dues to Pacific Motors Limited.
