March 02, 2007       Letters to Editor Honour our heroes Wasif Sattar , New Jersey, USA The quick action of some spontaneous super-heroes kept the human losses at the BSEC Bhaban fire to a minimum. While we cope with the losses and look into the root cause of the fire to prevent another disaster like this one, let us pause for a moment to salute our heroes like the first responders from the neighbourhood, the fire service personnel, the army commandos, the helicopter pilots and many of the victims themselves without whose super-human service this could have been a much worse disaster.
