BSF kills 1

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi youth on Chamusa border in Bholahat upazila of the district yesterday morning.The victim was identified as Shafiqul, 21, son of Rafiq of the village. Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) sources said the Indian border guards of Alipur camp opened fire on Shafiqul when he went near main border pillar no 197 at about 6:00am to bring back his cattle home. He died instantly. Immediately after the incident, the BSF troops took away the body. BDR protested the killing and asked its Indian counterpart to return the body.
