BNP terms news on Khaleda's house baseless

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has protested and condemned a report published yesterday in a section of newspapers regarding the presence of joint forces at the residence of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to arrest her eldest son Tarique Rahman's Personal Secretary (PS) Mian Nuruddin Apu.A press release signed by BNP Assistant Office Secretary Imran Saleh Prince said the report was baseless, confusing and motivated. "Mian Nuruddin Apu does not reside in that house. We strongly condemn the publication of such an untrue report," the press release said and called upon all to refrain from creating confusion in public mind by publishing "fabricated news".
