Shop Looting Case
HC asks Amini to surrender in 2 weeks

Turning down the plea for anticipatory bail in a shop looting case, the High Court (HC) yesterday asked Fazlul Huq Amini, chairman of a faction of Islami Oikya Jote (IOJ), to surrender before the lower court within two weeks.

Passing the order, the court, however, directed the law enforcers not to arrest him by the time.

On February 19, Hafez Mufti Sanaullah filed a case with Lalbagh Police Station accusing Amini, also a former lawmaker, and some others of looting his shop.

Barrister Abdur Razzak appeared for Amini.
