On behalf of Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed, his Press Secretary Syed Fahim Munaim handed over a cheque for Tk one lakh, donated from the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund, to Shahnaz Parvin, wife of Afrad, at the CA's office yesterday afternoon.

Afrad, also Bangladesh correspondent of Indian Ananda Bazar Patrika, has recently undergone bypass surgery at Ibrahim Cardiac Centre. He is now recuperating from the operation at his residence.
