Police headquarters in an order shunted the 17 OCs out of the DMP and transferred 13 police inspectors to the DMP to replace them. The four other posts will be filled shortly.

The OCs sent out of DMP are Ziaul Alam to Dhaka range, Rabiul Haq to Dhaka range, Jahangir Alam to Dhaka range, Syed Nazrul Islam to Barisal range, Mozammel Haq to Dhaka range, Ainul Haq to Police Training College at Noakhali, Abul Khair Matabbar to Dhaka range, Arzu Miah to Highway Division Kazi Nur-e-Alam to Chittagong range, Syed Mahbubur Rahman to Chittagong range, Amirul Islam Alam to Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Abdul Malek to Khulna range, Hamidur Rashid to Sarda Police Academy, Mustafizur Rahman to Chittagong range, Fakhrul Islam to Khulna Metropolitan Police, Abdur Noor to Sylhet Metropolitan Police and Rafiqul Hossain to Barisal Metropolitan Police.

They were replaced by Syed Akhter Newazee from Munshiganj, Abdur Rashid from Tangail, Tofazzal Hossain from Netrakona, Iftekher Hossain from Dhaka Telecom, ASM Shibly Noman from Sarda Police Academy, SMA Zahid from Kushtia, Shafiqul Islam Sikder from Munshiganj, Mohammad Ali from Noakhali, Helal Uddin from Police Headquarters, Syed Momenul Ahsan from Narayanganj, AKM Doulat Akbar from Special Branch, Abdul Khalek from Noakhali and Nabojoyti Khisha from CID.
