Ustad Momtaz Ali Khan Sangeet Academy celebrates fourth anniversary

On the occasion of its fourth anniversary, Ustad Momtaz Ali Khan Sangeet Academy honoured poet Khan Muhammad Moinuddin (posthumous) and artist Hafizur Rahman recently. The programme was held at Sufia Kamal auditorium, National Museum. The event was divided into three sessions. The first session featured the felicitation ceremony and discussion. The chief guest of the occasion was folklorist Dr Ashraf Siddique. Special guests were Dr Raijib Humayun and Artist Rafiqun Nabi. General secretary of Shammilito Sangskritik Jote, Golam Quddus also attended the event. After the prize giving ceremony the second session featured songs. The third session of the programme included theatrical and dance performances by students of the academy.
