Property worth about Tk10 lakh gutted

Property worth about Tk10 lakh was gutted in a fire at Khagrachhari Adhunik Sadar Hospital yesterday. Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at about 12:20pm and damaged four cabins, one lab and Health and Family Planning office. On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze at around 1:00pm, the sources said. Khagrachhari District Council Chairman Monindra Lal Tripura and Additional Police Superintendent Tareq Ahamad visited the hospital.
