2 KCC engrs suspended

Khulna City corporation (KCC) Executive Engineer Liaquat Ali Khan and Sub-Assistant Engineer Ajmal Hossain have been suspended for negligence in duty and corruption in the implementation of development projects.Mayor Shaikh Tayebur Rahman issued the suspension order last night. The KCC in a press release said the two engineers did not execute the mayor's order to renovate the children's park at Panchabithi Square in the city. They also misappropriated a huge amount from the development fund of KCC, it added. KCC public relations officer said a departmental case would be filed against the two engineers today.
