BDR, BSF trade fire in Lalmonirhat

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) exchange fire on Jourani border in Kaliganj upazila in Lalmonirhat district yesterday morning.BDR and local sources said, BSF personnel from Kaymari BOP (border observation post) fired several shots at BDR at Jourani border without any reason. BDR returned the fire and lodged a protested. BDR said tension mounted on the border there after the incident. BSF increased its strength while BDR also enhanced patrol, the sources said.
