25 Rohingya intruders held in Teknaf

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and police in separate drives arrested 25 Rohingya intruders from border areas of Teknaf upazila in the district in two days till Tuesday.Teknaf police said a patrol team of 23 Rifles Battalion arrested five Rohingyas from Sarbang on Monday when they were entering Bangladesh by crossing the Naaf river. Another team of BDR intercepted five Rohingya trespassers at Damdamiya check post on Cox's Bazar -Teknaf highway on the same day.All the arrested Rohingyas are residents of Buchidong area in Myanmar, police said. Teknaf police arrested 15 Rohingya intruders from Teknaf Sadar area on Tuesday.
