The declaration came at a demonstration staged by CSP, an organisation led by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), at Shaheb Bazar Zero Point in protest against the killing.

Babu, a leader of BCL Tahirpur Municipality and a third year student at the History department of Rajshahi Government College, was killed in a Rab encounter when he was gossiping with his friends at a shop.

They also announced that they will lay a siege to the office of deputy commissioner (DC) and submit a memorandum to the DC on Wednesday.
