Bangladeshi visitors to HK to require visa from Dec 11

The immigration authorities in Hong Kong have decided to introduce a system requiring Bangladeshis to obtain visa before flying to Hong Kong.The new system would be effective from December 11, said a government announcement here yesterday. The visa fee has been fixed at 21 Hong Kong dollars (equivalent to Tk 1500). This system, however, will not be applicable for diplomats, government passport holders and crews of ships and planes. At present, Bangladeshis can visit Hong Kong without a visa for up to 14 days.
