Valuables worth Tk16.37 lakh looted from city house

Robbers looted 95 tolas of gold and electronic goods worth around Tk 16.37 lakh and Tk 1 lakh in cash from the house of a businessman at Shaheednagar under Shyampur Police Station in the city on Saturday night.Police said a gang of robbers numbering around 10 entered the house of Mohammad Solaiman at about 9:00pm as a member of the family opened the door after hearing the doorbell. The robbers tied the family members and taped their mouths at gunpoint and looted the valuables. Solaiman filed a case with Shyampur police yesterday evening.
