Juve go top

Juventus went top of Serie B despite being held to a 1-1 draw at Genoa on Friday.

Juve, demoted in the close season after a sports tribunal investigated allegations of match-fixing, are level with Napoli on 25 points but have a game in hand.

Napoli play Frosinone on Saturday.

Czech Pavel Nedved put Juve ahead in the 71st minute with a free-kick that was deflected off Genoa's Croatian midfielder Ivan Juric.

Juric equalised two minutes later when he latched on to a through pass from Giuseppe Greco to slip the ball past Italy keeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Nedved was sent off in injury time for a second yellow card after a foul on Francesco Bega.
