Reigning champions Batch 04 were held to a goalless draw by Batch 02 in their group encounter in the North South University Intra-batch Football tournament at the WAPDA ground yesterday.In an action-packed encounter, Batch 04 pressed from the beginning but their opponents were resolute in defence, giving both sides a point each. Batch 04 now have four points in their two group matches, confirming their semifinal berth. In the day's other match, Asif scored the solitary goal as newcomers Batch 06 triumphed over Batch 05. In an evenly contested match, Asif's crisp finish was the difference. The remaining group matches will take place next week.
