Arges grenade recovered from Tangail

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) recovered an Arges grenade, one foreign made revolver and eight bullets from a village near Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur district early Thursday. Acting on a tip-off, a special team of Rab-9 raided Tarash village in the upazila at midnight on Wednesday and found the arms and ammunition abandoned. The Rab personnel handed over the recovered arms and ammunition to Nalitabai police Thursday morning, sources said. A General Diary (GD) was filed with the police station concerned.
