New vice chairman of ICC
Victor K. Fung was elected vice-chairman of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) yesterday for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2007, says a press release.ICC in its World Council held in New Delhi announced the election result. Fung is the chairman of Li & Fung Group of Companies, with major subsidiaries in trading, distribution and retailing, including publicly-listed Li & Fung Limited, Integrated Distribution Services Group Limited and Convenience Retail Asia. He is also chairman of Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council, Hong Kong Airport Authority and Hong Kong University Council.
