Novartis wins Scrip awards
Pharmaceutical giant Novartis has won two awards of Scrip magazine, a respected source of news and information in the pharmaceutical industry, says a press release.Scrip magazine has recognised Novartis for Best Overall Pipeline. The award recognises the company that has the most promising batch of investigational drugs in clinical development from Phase I to registration. The outstanding Novartis pipeline, resulting in a series of product launches within the next two years, caught the attention of the jury and won the 'Best Overall Pipeline' award for the second time in a row. Novartis also won the 2006 Scrip Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility. Given the integral part corporate citizenship plays within the Novartis strategy and operations, the jury specifically recognised its access to medicines programmes.
