Nari Sangram submits memo to president

Nari Sangram Committee, a women's organisation, yesterday submitted a memorandum to President and Chief Adviser Iajuddin Ahmed to press their 11-point demand. Their demands include reorganisation of the Election Commission, update of the voter list, and cancellation of all political appointments, promotions and retirements in the administration since July 1. The Committee led by its leaders Afroza Haq Rina, Hajera Sultana, Jolekha Haq Mridha, Nasrin Begum and others went to Bangabhaban and submitted the memorandum. President's Assistant Personal Secretary Abdul Hawlader received the memorandum on behalf of the president.
