Surer Parampara: The programme zeroes in to the Khan family that counts in its ranks illustrious musicians like Alauddin Khan and his successors from the village of Shibpur in Brahmanbaria. The Khan family includes musicians such as Fakir Aftabuddin Khan, Ustad Alauddin Khan, Ustad Ayet Ali Khan, Ustad Mir Quasem Khan, Ustad Bahadur Hossain Khan, Ustad Khadem Hossain Khan and Ustad Phuljhuri Khan (Yaar Rasul Khan). Surer Parampara traces the family's links with classical music; how the tradition is passed on within the family and thus, enhances the music of the subcontinent. Almost all living members of the family have participated in the programme and some pleasant music is in store for viewers. The programme is produced by Alfred Khokon.
