The constitution or politicians?

It is a decision of great courage that the president has agreed to assume the charge of the Chief Advisor of the caretaker government notwithstanding the chaotic situation prevailing in the country. It is indeed a bold step that came following KM Hasan's refusal to head the caretaker government. However, the leader of the opposition Sheikh Hasina had disagreed to consider the president's suggestion. She advised the president to make the appointment in accordance with the provisions of the constitution. The Awami League had never spelled out whom they prefer as the Chief Adviser. But they have rejected Justice KM Hasan, showing utter disrespect for the constitutional mandate. In order to press their demand they have created a situation throughout the country when clashes and bloodshed are inevitable. And we have seen enough blood in the last three days.
