Condition of Laltu stable

The condition of Shabuddin Laltu, former president of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), who came under attack on Monday, is now stable, doctors said. Laltu has been receiving treatment at intensive care unit of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He came under an attack at Bhanga upazila in Faridpur district on Monday while coming to Dhaka from Bhola district that left him and six others injured. JCD at a press conference at Paltan in the city yesterday alleged Awami League (AL) carried out the attack. JCD President Azizul Baree Helal and General Secretary Shaiful Bari Babu visited Laltu.
