Dialogue, at long last
Nur Jahan, Chittagong
We became tired to the bones by the row over the dialogue between the government and the opposition political parties, it was going on and on. Awami League General Secretary Abdul Jalil said that his party was ready to sit for a dialogue if the government made a formal offer. Clearly the ice was melting, but we were dismayed by the words of BNP Secretary General Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan when he said that he did not feel the necessity of sending a formal letter. We hope that a fruitful dialogue will be held between the two parties.
