Husband donates eyes of deceased wife to Sandhani
With noble intentions, a husband donated his deceased wife's eyes to Sandhani International Eye Bank, says a press release.

Rajab Ali, husband of the deceased Angura Begum, has established an example yesterday by donating the eyes of his wife Angura Begum, 45, who succumbed to her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on September 30 following a road accident.

Hearing the news, councillors of Sandhani International Eye Bank rushed to the hospital and proposed Rajab to donate his wife's eyes.

Rajab has done a noble job by giving his wife's eyes as a visually impaired person would be able to get his or her sight back now through these eyes, said Sandhani authorities.

They also said they are grateful to Angura Begum and her families.
