BDB to nominate Hindus in next polls where they are majority
Says B Chowdhury

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury yesterday said his party will put up candidates from Hindu community in the next general election where they are majority.

He said this while he was visiting different puja mandaps at Louhojong and Sirajdikhan upazilas yesterday.

The former president said neither the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) nor the Awami League (AL) gave nomination to Hindu candidates in 17 Hindu majority constituencies.

"We will give nomination to Hindu people in those constituencies," he added.

Bikalpa Jubo Dhara Member Secretary Sheikh Shahiduzzaman and Bikalpa Dhara central leader Shaukat Bepari accompanied the BDB chief during the visit.
