Special programmes on Channel i anniversary

October 1 marks the 8th anniversary of satellite television station Channel i. To celebrate the occasion, Channel i has chalked out special programmes including discussions and TV plays.Every hour Farzana Brownia will interview celebrities who will talk about the TV channel. Moreover, two special single episode plays will be aired at 7:50 pm and 9:35 pm on October 1. Humayun Ahmed's play Juta Baba will be aired at 7:50 pm. Familiar faces in Ahmed's plays such as Dr Ezaz, Faruk Ahmed, Saleh Ahmed and others perform in Juta Baba . Arunavo Anjan's play Bhalobasha, directed by Taher Shipon, will be aired at 9:35pm. Abul Hayat, Dilara Zaman, Monalisa and Rumna play the major roles.
