Little rainfall

Bangladesh has experienced very little rainfall this year in the monsoon months- a record minimum in 25 years. There was virtually no flooding which was essential for crops, irrigation, recharging of ground water table, navigability etc. We expected heavy shower in the months of 'Ashar' and "Sravan". But nature eluded our suffering country. It drove all the monsoon clouds to Burma, parts of India and Thailand.

Rajshahi and Chittagong region suffered 40% less rainfall compared to the previous years. A severe drought may hit the country. Could it be an ominous sign of nature's displeasure or wrath of God?
