The factory stopped operation following detection of a leakage in its boiler pipe on August 31. Local engineers and technicians took two days to repair the fault.

Meanwhile, a major overhauling was done in the factory for 35 days in the month of July. But even after its overhauling, the authorities could not run the factory due to detection of some other faults. After 11 days, the fault was repaired and the plant was brought into operation. Again it stopped functioning on August 31. It resumed functioning after two days of repair work.

However, an engineer, on condition of anonymity, said although the factory started operation, it might stop any moment.
