Section 144 in Dashmina

Dashmina upazila administration imposed Section 144 in and around Abdur Rashid Degree College yesteday as the college authorities and the college unit Chatra Dal, a student wing of ruling BNP, called freshes' receptions at the same place at the same time yesterday. Souces at Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office said said, the college authorities arranged a reception for new students where lawmaker AKM Jahangir Hossain, president of the college governing body, was invited as chief guest. The college unit of Chatra Dal also declared another programme where Shahjahan Khan, president of Galachipa upazila BNP was invited as chief guest.
