Prof Mosharraf new BAU VC
Prof Dr Mosharraf Hossain has been appointed Vice-chancellor (VC) of Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU), Mymensingh for the next four years, says a BAU press release.He is an internationally recognised soil scientist and a freedom fighter. Prof Mosharraf stood first class first in BSc Ag (honours) and MSc examinations in 1971 and 1972 in Soil Science from BAU. He obtained PhD degree from Dandy University as a Commonwealth scholar in 1981 and received postdoctoral fellowship in 1988. He joined the BAU as a lecturer of Soil Science Department in 1975.
