Local television channels

It is true that our local satellite television channels are not at all worth watching. I can't name a single magazine programme or drama series that is good enough. All these channels have just one trait in common , that is, they show programmes of no quality. I do not have a single clue why the government has banned 13 popular pay-channels. If the government & the authorities of the local satellite channels think that stopping these pay channels will create mass viewers for the local channels, then they are wrong. No one will care to watch the trash programmes. It is the Bangladeshi channels that should come under scrutiny for showing trash programmes & vulgar movies.
