Hon Consul of Indonesia in Ctg meets FM

Newly appointed Honourary Consul of Indonesia in Chittagong AK Shamsuddin Khan called on Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan at his office yesterday.Morshed Khan approved the appointment letter of Shamsuddin Khan and handed over a letter to him in this regard. The Foreign Minister said Indonesia is a friendly country of Bangladesh and hoped that trade and economic activities between Indonesia and Chittagong would be strengthened with the appointment of Shamsuddin as the Honourary Consul. He urged the Honorary Consul to carry out his responsibilities proactively with a view to strengthening Bangladesh-Indonesia relations.
