Musical performance by finalists of Bengal Bikash

Bengal Foundation organised a reception to the upcoming talents of Bengal Bikash at the District Council Auditorium in Rajshahi on Thursday last. Twelve emerging singers, selected in pre-final rounds from Rajshahi division, participated in the music programme. The judges were hopeful about the potential of these upcoming singers.Bengal Foundation is continuing its search for new talents in Bangla songs. The twelve awardees at the event were-- Anup Kumar Agarwal and Aminul Islam in modern song, Mozammel Huque, Mahfuza Khatun Tania, Arifur Rahman and Dulal Chandra Mohanto in folk songs, Shouvik Roy, Purna Chandra Karmakar and Biplob Pandit in Nazrul songs, Tanusree Dev, Shoma, Parmita Huque Kankan and Shoumik Roy in songs of three poets. The programme was held in cooperation with Hindol Sanskritik Goshthi of Rajshahi.
