ntv turns three
Special programmes on the occasion


The channel ntv celebrates its third anniversary. Kicking off on July 2, viewers will be treated to an array of tele-films, a feature film, single-episode plays, talk shows and musical soirees. Here's a run down of the special programmes ntv will air on the occasion:

Rani Kuthir Baki Itihash
Director Samia Zaman's debut film Rani Kuthir Baki Itihash will be premiered today at 08:15pm. The film features Popy, Ferdous, Alamgir, Tarik Anam Khan and others.

Programmes to be aired tomorrow:

Borshaparikromay Islami Anusthan
Highlights of last year's Islamic programmes will be aired at 06:10am. Abul Kalam Azad directs the programme.

Bajao Praner Mondira
A special programme on instrumental music will be aired at 08:55am. The programme is produced by Alfred Khokon and hosted by Shahnaz Nasrin Ella. Traditional Bangladeshi musical instruments will be presented in the programme.

Chalochchitrey ntv
A special programme featuring films produced by and premiered on ntv will be aired at 11:am. The programme is hosted by Sharmin Lucky.

Bonophool
Written by Matia Banu Shukur and directed by Nurul Alam Atik, telefilm Bonophool will be aired at 02:30pm. The telefilm features Iqbal Kabir Jewel, Moutushi Biswas, Momo Murshed and others.

Chhayabithi Toley
Written by Bipasha Hayat and directed by Golam Shohrab Dudul, the play: Chhayabithi Toley will be aired at 08:50pm. The play features Bipasha Hayat, Tauquir Ahmed and others. The story revolves around a man's attempt to sell a piece of land so that he can move to America.

Aaj Ratey
The special musical programme produced by Dipu Mahmud will be aired at 12:10 am (July 4). Subir Nandi, Rizia Parvin, Baby Naznin, Asif, Munir Khan, Shampa Reza and Agun will participate in the programme.

Batik
Single episode play Batik will be aired at 03:50pm on July 4. The play is written by Amol Saha and directed by Shah Alam Dulal. The play features Mamunur Rashid, Subarna Mustafa, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shah Alam Dulal and others.
