EWUIPC 2006 on July 28-29

East West University (EWU) is going to arrange an inter university programming contest on July 28 and 29, says a press release. EWU believes in excellence in education and to achieve this excellence the university always strives to patronise the co-curricular activities. With this view EWU is going to organise East West University Inter-University Programming Contest 2006 (EWUIPC '2006) to provide a platform for the young talents to come together for the next ICT development. A maximum of 60 teams from different universities from all over the country will participate at the contest. Registration should be completed online at www.ewnipc. ewubd.edu. After taking a print out and filling up the registration form, the registrar or the head of the department of the institution has to authorise each registration form. Authorised registration form must be sent by postal mail or delivered directly to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department of EWU and the last date of registration is July 15. Maximum 4(four) teams will be allowed to participate in the contest for a university. The mock contest will be held on July 28 and the final contest will be held on July 29. Syed Akhter Hossain, chairperson of CSE department, will formally inaugurate the event. Prominent ICT monthly, Computer Jagat is the media partner and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (Basis), Exim Bank and City Bank NA are the support partners for this contest.
