UPDF man hurt in attack by PCJSS activists


A United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) activist was critically wounded in an attack by armed activists of Parbattya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS) at the Kutukchhari Bazar office of UPDF in Sadar upazila.

Police said UPDF activist Charan Sing Tangchangya ,26, was sitting at the corridor of the office when about 15 PCJSS men sprayed bullets on him on Wednesday night.

He was shifted to Chittagong Medical Collage Hospital (CMCH) in a critical condition the next day.

Charan Sing is the son of late Rajendra Lal Tangchanya of Rashyabil village in Kawkhali upazila.
