7th raffle draw of 'Coca-Cola Fun Island' programme held

The seventh raffle draw of 'Coca-Cola Fun Island' under the 'Crown Program 2006' was held yesterday in Dhaka under the aegis of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Kalyan Trust.

Under the programme, a total of 61 winners will travel Pattaya and Bangkok free of cost for three nights and four days with one person each as accompaniment.

Forty three of them have already been selected through seven raffle draws and the rest 18 will be selected through next three by June 30, said Saumindra Bhattacharya, country manager in Bangladesh of Coca-Cola Far East Ltd, at the function of the raffle draw at Tabani Beverage Company office in Mirpur where six lucky winners have been selected.

At first the authority started the campaign for selecting one hundred winners. But the authority yesterday announced the extension period of the campaign. "Now the last date of the campaign is June 30 instead of June 10 and 122 people instead of 100 will visit Pattaya and Bangkok," Saumindra said.

People can participate in the programme through buying Coca-Cola products and those who get 'Airplane Signal' crown and collect three crowns, can send a letter to the Tabani Beverage Company Ltd for raffle draws, said SM Yasin Ali, general manager of the company.

As part of the programme, Sumit Sahay, regional marketing manager (South West Asia Region) of Coca-Cola India, handed over a cheque for Tk 50,000 for the welfare fund of Bangladesh Muktijoddhya Kalyan Trust to Wahidur Rahman, general manager of the Trust.
