Bangladesh men's team stumbled but the women made the eleventh round of the 37th Chess Olympiad a successful one at Turin, Italy on Friday.International Master Abdullah Al Rakib spared the blushes against Qatar when he drew his board to concede a 3.5-0.5 defeat against the Middle East side as Grand Master Ziaur Rahman, IM Enamul Hossain Rajib and IM Reefat Bin Sattar lost their games. The men's team were on 21.5 points with Armenia enjoying solo lead with 32 points. Bangladesh women's team beat Kyrgyzstan 2.5-0.5 with IWM Rani Hamid and Nazrana Khan Eva winning their boards and Tanima Parveen sharing points. The eves have 17.5 points to their account.
