"The situation has become worse today and outsiders are demonstrating, attacking and vandalising. Under such circumstances, factories are closing down. If actions are not taken against such unlawful acts immediately, operations of all units would be closed," the letter read. The letter said it would not only be an economic disaster but also nearly 75,000 workers would lose employment. It also claimed workers in the DEPZ were earning much more than RMG units outside the zone.
