Focusing the World Cup 2006 (WC 2006), Computer Source Limited (CSL) has launched an end-user promotion for its range of AverMedia TV Cards, says a press release. Under this promotion, customers will win a mobile pre-paid card worth Taka 100/- with the purchase of AverTV Box7. AVerTV Box 7 (External TV Card) Compatible with LCD/CRT monitors, this external TV card is packed with Progressive Scan technology and 3D-motion Adoptive De-interlace; it can eliminate jitter from DVD movies to improve the clarity and sharpness of the overall image. It supports resolution up to 1280 x1024. It also has PIP function that enables one to work on the PC and watch TV at the same time. This TV card has a price tag of Taka 4200 with a warranty of 3 years. AverTV Studio 203 (Internal TV Card) With this internal tuner, not only users can turn their PC into a regular TV, but also use it as a personal video recorder (PVR) and more. TV programs or videos can be recorded in high-quality MPEG1/2 formats. AverTV Studio 203 also supports TV, camcorder or analog TV inputs. Not only TV, with the AverTV Studio 203 user can also enjoy FM radio on their PC. Other features include Parental Lock, viewing of 16 channels at a time, time shift function and TV recording scheduler. This internal tuner has a price tag of Taka 3000 only.
