Ginnee and Shunyashiri
Shahiduzzaman Selim's two new plays

Besides making drama serials Aguntuk, Nokol Poshak and Gaorachandrika, which are being aired on three TV channels; popular actor-director Shahiduzzaman Selim has made two single episode plays, Ginnee and Shunyashiri.

“Ginnee is one of the short stories of Galpoguchcha, Tagore's popular collection of short stories. Several popular directors such as Abul Hayat, Aruna Biswas and I am directing one selected story each from Galpoguchcha", continues Selim, "Making TV plays based on Tagore's story is always exciting and challenging and Ginnee, is based on the reminiscence of childhood of the protagonist. So, I had to deal with many child artistes."

Ginnee will be aired on ATN Bangla on two consecutive Mondays, in which Dr Enamul Huq, Litu Anam, Shirin Bakul and others are in the cast.

Another single episode play directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim is Moni Hayder's drama Shunyashiri. Selim asserted, " Shunyashiri features the crisis of a single family, of which both of the spouses are a working couple."

The play to be telecast on ntv has Shahiduzzaman Selim, Aupi Karim, Anindita Labonya Payra, Rosy Siddiqui and others in the lead role.
