Bank manager robbed in city

A gang of muggers looted money and valuables from a bank manager after injuring him at Tejgaon in the city on Thursday night. The victim was identified as Atiqul Haque, manager of Employment Bank, Feni branch. He said a group of three muggers attacked him at Farmgate at about 9:00pm when he was going to Green Road from Mohakhali by an autorickshaw. The muggers threw chilli dust in his eyes before leaving the scene near Polytechnic Masjid Market. They took away all his belongings in his bag, including Tk 10,000. Atiqul was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
