June 02, 2006       Letters to Editor Tata and gas reserves Careem A Jamal, Firozshah, Chittagong As a layman having travelled extensively , I know of 40 countries wherein Tata industries are in operations as coal fired/based projects. So, why must Tata be allowed to throttle our industrial base prematurely, by their US$3 billion proposals to expedite usage or abuse of our limited gas reserves? Will this not be a collective suicide?
