Vulnerable states

While countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan are among the world's top 10 most vulnerable states, I'm just feeling happy to see that Bangladesh is not on the list of the failed top ten. Since residing in the US, all I've been witnessing these years is my native country being treated as the top country in corruption. The present opposition party tried to portray the nation as a failed one at home and abroad but the report by the US Foreign Policy magazine and the US-based Fund for Peace think-tank did not rank Bangladesh within the top ten. My last visit to Bangladesh and the everyday news from the booming electronic media gave me enough insights to be positive about the country. Success is a never-ending journey but at least we are walking towards it!
