Sub Inspector (SI) Sirajul Islam lost his 9MM pistol, a mobile set and a moneybag while he was staying at Monguri residential hotel.

Police said Sirajul came from Shariatpur to join Ashulia Police Station for special duty. He rented a room at Monguri hotel at Tongi Bazar for sleeping as he could not manage accommodation for him at the Ashulia Police Station, police added.

Tongi police arrested hotel manager Momen Uddin and boy Abdus Salam and formed an inquiry committee in this connection.
