Attack on Adv Baset condemned

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) yesterday condemned and protested the attack on its former president Advocate Abdul Baset Majumder in Comilla on May 1.Advocate Baset was reportedly attacked by some ruling party cadres while he was going by a private car to take part in a programme on May Day in Comilla. The SCBA at an emergency general meeting at its Shaheed Abdul Ahad Hall also demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants and their punishment.
