Lightning kills 4 in C'nawabganj

Lightning killed four people and injured 15 others during a storm that lashed parts of Shibganj upazila yesterday evening.Three of the dead were identified as Khairul, 30, of Ekbarpur village, Emy, 21, of Rashunchak village, and Rekha Begum, 32, of Selinabad village. Identity of another could not be known. Shibganj upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) confirmed the death of two people. The storm has caused extensive damage to mango groves, standing Irri-boro crops and vegetables.
