The AL leader made the proposal while addressing a rally at Muktangon in the capital in observance of the "Electricity Day" by the 14-party opposition combine.

Quader said if the government side nominates Bhuiyan for the dialogue, the AL will have no problem in nominating Jalil to discuss the reform agenda.

He said the government is not interested in dialogue and for this the dialogue team was formed with war criminals and patrons of militants.

AL Presidium Member Motia Chowdhury, 14-party leaders Bimal Biswas, Syed Zafar Sazzad, Dilip Barua, MA Gani, Abdur Rahman and Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, among others, spoke at the rally.

The opposition leaders urged the party leaders and activists to make the Dhaka siege programme on May 21 a success.
